Great dive shop
I am writing in response to the post on 8/23 calling Ocean Adventures the
biggest scam shop in diving. I have had the pleasure of diving with Ocean
Adventures since 2005 and could not be happier with the staff and especially the owner Steve Ladd.
I posted a review on Ocean Adventures back in 2008 (scroll down to the end of this post for my original review).
I hope everyone who read the previous post will take into account a
few points. The customer received a refund, not store credit, a refund.
Further, why is it necessary to characterize the owner's personal appearance in
negative terms? How is that relevant? The author of that post revealed her lack of class with the continued
use of her acronym. I am proud to be an Ocean Adventures diver, I have and will
continue to recommend the shop to anyone I meet.

I happened upon Ocean Adventures gearing up for a tropical trip and they not only gave me a good discount on gear I still own and use, they encouraged me to stop back by and tell them about the trip upon my return. They introduced me to California diving and expanded my dive training to Dive Master level. I am happy to recommend this shop to anyone who wants to learn how to dive, take a refresher course or further your dive training. If you enjoy diving the islands off our coast get on an Ocean Adventures boat, you will be diving with top notch divers and have way too much fun.
Pros: Great instructors, large inventory, helpful staff
