I moved into las palmas about a year ago and both gates were broken. I was told that it was a temporary problem that would be fixed soon. A year later and they are both still broken, allong with the gates two of my windows had been painted shut as well as the axcess to the airfilter, none of the windows had screens and the deadbolt did not work. I tried to be reasonable about it with management but they constantly ignored me. Because of these security probllems my and many other apartments basically became open season for a variety of burglars. This is not a unsafe neighborhood but the complete lack of security in these apartments leaves you totally exposed.
Pros: In room washer, dryer
Cons: lots of trash everywhere, water frequently does not work for days and high crime
