Please do not take your child to this office or you will most likely be very disappointed as well. The doctor we have seen twice is Dr. Mani. On my son?s first visit I went in to talk about taking the steps to get him diagnosed for ADD or ADHD, plus he had a regular yearly check up. The doctor recommended that I fill out some forms and have my son?s teachers do the same. These forms were supposed to be sent in to the doctor?s office to determine if he needed any testing done. \r

First off I had filled out the papers then faxed them in (as requested by staff) and none of the staff called me to set up an appointment or anything. I had to call back a couple times to even get a response as to if I could make an appointment or not. I finally made the appointment but now I am wondering what it was all for. She asked me a few questions as she looked on the formns that I had filled out and wrote a bunch of useless notes. The doctor was supposed to call me back with some type of recommendation/referral so that I could take my son to see a neuro professional to see if he was ADHD. It never happened. I am still waiting and it has been about 4 weeks and there has been no call from Dr. Mani.\r

The other thing that really got to me was the fact that the doctor and the rest of the staff are very uncaring. They all act like they would rather not be there or that they hate their jobs. The whole office is really just unfriendly.\r

It?s frustrating relocating from a different state where I had great doctors for the kids then having to find a good doctor and having to deal with an office like Capital Pediatric. At this point I just really don?t know who to go to for good health care for my children. If you know of a great pediatrician please let it be known because I would hate to think that there are no good doctors here in Austin.
Pros: They are in my insurance network
Cons: They are not a very good office.
