Our firm had tried hiring people in house for years. The problem was that the one good guy got bored and left and then we had a guy who had no idea what they were doing caused more problems than he solved - he wanted to do everything the underdog way, linux, staroffice etc. I'm the office manager so I ended up handling the mess. After we couldn't send bills for a week I finally convinced the owner to let me find a consulting firm to work with. I interviewed 5 different Bay Area firms and chose Xantrion on the strength of their references and the fact that their contract had the fewest limitations - that is they took the most responsibility of anyone I talked to for thier work. I have been completely happy, things work, I don't get complaints like I used to, and I feel like I got what was promised, they don't nickel and dime you.
Pros: Deliver on their promises
Cons: They don't do phones yet - I wish they did
