This is by far the best dance studio in Horseheads. Amy knows more than any of the other artistic directors in any of the other dance studios in the 607 area code guaranteed. She is encouraging with her students like no other teacher I have ever seen, she is not a drill sergeant, yet demands excellence from her students while engaging them in creative dialog about the process and product of dancing. I have seen all of the great dancers from the other dance studios in the area turn to Amy when they reached their burnout point, and at Dancer's Alley they were allowed to blossom and mature into ""real"" dancers capable of choreography and movement beyond being the teacher's robot and learning routines. My only wish is to one day move back to the area and be able to teach along side such a great teacher in such a warm, inviting studio.
