The tea house was my favorite spot in Twin Cities for Chinese. They are very, very close to good authentic food. I've heard that in the past they were better but the chef left. That may be some of the reason why the food has gone down. Service is good, ambience is ok and the food is close. I would go again if I was on that side of town and wanted some decent food. Avoid the buffet at all costs it ""typical"". Want the best, go see little szechuan. Tea House has a sister in St. Paul and it's actually authentic. My vote still goes to Little Szechuan for most authentic in the state but the sister shop to Tea House in St. Paul is a VERY close second. Keep it up guys you are still Heads above any other Chinese Restaurant for authenticity.
Pros: Better than other ""average"" chinese places.
Cons: Cold decor isn't very inviting.
