Maybe it's because we are from Europe and used to authentic Greek food and service, but we didn't like the Veranda at all. The service was slow and inattentive, the salad had way too much vinegar, the pastitio very americanized with a bland tomato sauce and tasteless, watery beef. The appetizers we had were small portions and similarly bland. Not an experience we want to repeat.
