I was really excited when my daughter decided to take my husband and I to this new restaurant in Clear Lake for Mother's Day. Instead of going to brunch, she decided to take us for Saturday night dinner. \r

There are some glitches that need to be worked out. Such as the air conditioning. It was humid outside and it was hot and humid in the restaurant. I actually hiked up my long skirt under the table. My husband advised our server and he said he would talk to the manager. It remained hot and humid. Also, as other people have complained, it took me ten minutes to get the salt and pepper shakers. Whatever happened to leaving them on the table?\r

We got the scallops as an appetizer. They were delicious but there were only two large scallops. So between the six of us (hubby, daughter, husband, two kids, and myself) we each had about a bite. Pretty pricey at $18.\r

I liked my entree which was braised short ribs but I don't think it was anything out of the ordinary. My daughter got the ahi tuna with absolutely no sauce at all and it was really bland. My husband I think got the prize for the best entree. It was proscuitto wrapped chicken with goat cheese inside. It was delicious.\r

All in all, I would probably try this restaurant again, but the owners should take note of complaints that I've seen over and over on various websites, and as noted above.\r

Also, I have to say the restaurant, though very upscale, is also very kid-friendly. There were many different selections and the kids seemed to really enjoy being at a ""fancy"" restaurant.
