Disclaimer - I'm the owner of Fair Bean Coffee\r
\r
Here?s a list of what we have that stands out:\r
\r
1) On-site roasting done almost daily, guaranteeing freshness of the Coffee we serve and the beans we sell in bulk (seven different kinds; four of them fairly traded). This allows for tight control over the taste of the Coffee, giving us an excellent Espresso for our Cafe Bon Bon, an excellent Guatemalan HueHue for our Iced Coffee (12 hr. brew), an excellent Decaf Costa Rican for our Half-caf blend, and an excellent Ethiopian for French Press\r
2) About 15 different savory foods, salads, grilled sandwiches and bagels, and about 15 different sweets\r
3) Unique non caffeinated Red Espresso drinks made with Rooibos, and ten (10) different types of Teas, including French Pressed Mate and Kid?s size Ice Tea\r
4) Our default milk is 2%, but we also have Whole, Skim, ? & ? , Soy, Rice and Almond\r
5) Authentic Hot Chocolate and Mochas done with actual chocolate chips melt in the steamed milk\r
6) Espresso Protein Shakes made with Whey or Soy protein (a light meal conveniently blended with Coffee - 750 calories & 42 gr. of protein) and Fruit Smoothies\r
7) iPod powered music from all walks of life. Our diverse Staff (married, singles, UT/ACC/St. Eds students, Anglo, Hispanic) brings their iPods and push through our stereo almost anything that is out there\r
8) Nine-foot glass walls on two sides of the Bean, providing ample natural light for our Art and also letting Fair Beaners window-watch South Austin passers by\r
9) Convenience for our visitors, with Self-serve brew Coffee, Wireless Internet, a Bagel Toaster, Metal pans to heat up Banana Nut breads in our Toaster Oven, Courtesy dog leashes and hooks outside by the glass wall, Outdoor stools, Self-serve Coffee grounds for visitors to take home, a Public Input page in our web-site, and a Cute mirror in the girl?s bathroom\r
10) We?re working on #10\r
