I went to David Grant Medical center today and because I couldn't get an appointment I had to use the emergency room. I have never in my life been treated so horribly by a Dr. He was rude uncarring and just wanted to get me out of there. The first question he asked me was why didn't I make and appoitment with my primary care physician. I spent a total of 5 minutes with him only to be told that was I know was wrong with me wasn't. He told me he was going to send 3 prescrptions down to the pharmacy and I could pick them up. I get down to the pharmacy only to find out 2 of the prescriptions were placed but the third was not put into the system. The pharmacy paged him and he did not answer..big shock there. After I went back up the ER to have him put it in still it was not put in. I left that hospital in tears still in pain and no end in sight for me because my third prescription was never put in. After spending a couple hours at home in pain I finally gave up and went to an urgent care center to see if they could help me and paid for that out of my pocket. Guess what...what I knew was wrong with me actually was. I called my job and effective immediatly had them sign me up for our work insurance. I will never again cross the doors of David Grant Medical Center. The emergency room should be ashamed of themselves and their supervision needs a swift kick in the pants for letting them treat people the way they do.
