This is a geat place for police and fire buffs... it has nearly every fire-police product licensed by the city of ny and quite a few original items of the store's own design. A New York FDNY style ( black with silver reflective stripes) raincoat. It has a great kids department with toys and costumes. ""Keep Back 200FT Tee shirts. My Favorite shirts - ""Rikers Island Swim Team"", ""NYC Coroner"", ""Bomb Squad, ""Hostage Negotiator"" and tees honoring various NYC firehouses. Sadly you can also still get WTC/ 911 memorabilia here. The store was founded in 1991 and is, in a way, a New York institution. OK I admit it. I am fire/police buff myself. The store is tricky to find if you don't know the neighborhood. It's just west of 6th Avenue at 8th Street.
