So, I had chemotherapy in 2007 and lost all my hair. In April (2008), it was about 2 inches long and I had a friend here in Houston lighten it. It turned orange and then canary yellow! A day later, I had a hairdresser in NYC tone it down but he told me I couldn't do anything with the color for 4 weeks (for fear it would all fall out) and that when I did, I should ONLY go to a salon in Houston that used Kerastase products (a divsion of L'Oreal).
