Don't let the four and a half stars fool you. If you average up the reviews it barely passes three... nor do they have drink specials on the weekend like they advertise.
Anyway let me tell you a bit about what you will experience at players. Upon arriving you will go up to the bar and wait 10-15 minutes to be served every time you need a drink. Once you finally get served the drink will be waaaay over priced for what it is and how much liquor they put in it. Good luck trying to find a table or moving to the dance floor because the place is too small for how many people are in there, which is surprising considering its quality (but hey I guess if you're drunk you don't care as much). If you do make it to the dance floor you will find a bunch of stereotypical chapel hill guys trying to grind up on the girls there, who happen to seem really grossed out by this for the most part. Imagine that. At the end of the night you will be lucky if your tab is correct. They do not print itemized receipts for you so you have to take their word. Our tab was approximately 40 dollars more than what it should have been, and when we talked to the bartenders about it we simply got yelled at about "how they where sick of people not paying for their S#*% all the time" and "don't argue with me I work for a living" (don't we all?). Anyway their saving grace is the owner heard the scene and compensated us for the difference (nice but a huge hassle).
So this is the place for you if you want to pay too much, get grinded up on all night, and get overcharged and yelled at when the night ends. Approach with caution.

Cons: Way over-priced drinks, Terrible service, Inncorrect reciepts and bartenders who will yell at you
