Had Cinelli's for the first time based on the recommendations here, and from a friend who dines there quite often... so I decided to try it on for my self.
The menu is pretty extensive, with a very vibrant specials list. Enjoyed a mushroom with balsamic vinagrette and wine reduction, and of course had to try my favorite calamari! The calamari's were crisp, light and fresh with a wonderful tomato sauce served on the side. The mushroom wasn't my favorite, but my wife couldn't say enough good things about it. I'm not a huge fungus fan myself...
I decided to be a little adventurous and had something recommended by the waiter, a chicken marsala rolatini - out of this world. Wonderful presentation and enough food to bring home lunch for the next day.
The wife had a stuffed rigatoni dish that she too brought home enough for lunch - she raved to all her friends about the pesto sauce from that dish. I tried one, and agree it was quite tasty but I'm watching my carb intake so no pasta for me!
We had a nice Italian wine recommended by the owner that was smooth and under 50 bucks.. went very well with the meal.
We decided to pass on dessert because we were full, and it was a mid week dining experience and we try to save the calories for the weekend.
I'm sure we'll be back- hopefully we can have a nice table in the corner like we did this time. Had candles on the tables, dimly lit with some jazz in the backround - romantic enough for us!
Good time.. we'll be back.
