I drive 45 minutes to bring my dog to Dr. Downes. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. He makes sure that I understand everything before proceeding, and I always trust that he isn't doing anything unnecessary - he truly cares about the well-being of my dog. I found that out when I called him about 9:00 one night because my dog was having an allergic reaction. I would take my cats too, but they don't like car rides :) The staff is wonderful too.
