Thank you to Mark at HelpMe Computers! I had a simple issue with an easy-to-order part that was damaged. Being a computer neophyte, he could have easily swindled me, but after running their basic diagnostic test, he assured me that I could order the part cheaper directly from the manufacturer (instead of going through his middle-man), and the problem would be resolved (and it is now!). Next time I have a computer problem I will definitely be back. \r

PS: I live nowhere near HelpMe, but it was worth the drive. A friend recommended them to me so I decided to spend the gas money on the car ride vs. take my chances with an unknown place. So glad I did! I've used GeekSquad (Best Buy) in the past. While they did the job, they also tried to sell me on every test, add-on, and feature they could.
Pros: Honest; didn't speak to me like I was an idiot
