Being an amateur who usually buys in a store or pro shop, I didn't know that flex made much of a difference. The golf specialist that assisted me explained how switching to a more flexible shaft could help me gain some distance and also help my slice. I added 7 yards to my drive and have less of a slice than before. I really like my Titan woods.
