I took my father to Tavola Rossa today for his birthday lunch. I arrived a little early and was greeted courteously. While I waited for my dad I was offered something to drink. We were seated promptly and our server was very nice. The bread and sauce they serve while you wait is delicious. I ordered the Puttanesca (linguini with capers, olives, tomatoes and garlic) and my father had the Chipotle Chicken Panini. The portions were just right (although they gave my dad a TON of fries with his sandwich) and it was delicious. I think their red sauce is one of the best I've ever tasted. \r

The owner/manager was circulating around and was very friendly. While we were there we made reservations for Mother's Day brunch. I'm looking forward to going back!
