Bond Street was disappointing. Overall, dinner was satisfying but did not live up to the price or hype. The sushi was top-quality but servings were small and generally uinspired. The toro marinated in bleu cheese was the only notable exception. Service was mediocre at best. Our server was slow and distracted but I think it was because the restaurant was simply understaffed. The biggest negative was our seating. On fairly short notice, I could only manage to score a reservation in the ""casual dining room"". The host assured me that many people prefer the ""casual dining room"" because it is more hip and fun. Let's call a spade a spade: I was seated in the kitchen.
Pros: Quality sushi
Cons: Mediocre service; pricey; small portions
