This was my second time dining at Cinelli's - and it inspired me to write something up.
Atmosphere - fun and friendly. It was a little busy, but it wasn't a bother to us because we were out to relax and enjoy the weekend.
Wine list - great selections for 30 bucks.. I'm tired of having to spend 50 60 bucks or more on wine to get something decent.. Glenn (the owner?) was more than happy to come over and describe and educate us on the wines he had.. which apparantly change frequently to keep things fresh!
Food - wow.. we had some clam appetizer that was just.. simply.. delicious! Nothing fancy.. baked clams.. but in a lemon wine cause.. they melted in your mouth. Nice.
A special.. Havana Cigar.. holy cow!! Possibly one of the best dishes I've ever had.. a very large chich stuffed with melted fontina cheese and ham and asparagus.. in some sauce that I'd beg to learn how to make !
AWESOME!
Dessert.. nothing to preach about.. but by this time I was stuffed and was just enjoying the live music. They had some guy in the front playing low volume jazz and classic vocal stuff..
Great time.. little slow on the service - but.. again it wasn't a bother to us. We'll definitely be going back.
Glenn's from up north.. and this place has a lot of character and charm from "up north"
Pros: Great atmosphere, Friendly, SUPER FOOD!
Cons: Little loud at the bar
