After diagnosing a bladder stone which involves a costly surgical procedure, I asked for my dog's records to discuss a second opinion elsewhere. They would not give it to me. They claimed the other vet could request it and I would have to sign paper work consenting to do so. I complied, but they still refused to give me x-rays and test results claiming the other vet would have to pick this information up and I could not. \r

Due to the urgency of needing to make a decision before the stone became lodged and having invested over $400 to date, I felt this to be unfair. I decided to eat the expense and use another more caring vet who did their own diagnosis at a fraction of the price. Meanwhile, Coursey Animal Hospital had given my 8 pound Chihuahua an $80 sedative to take the x-ray! Given the procedure at 10am, my dog was still unable to be released till almost 4pm
