At least once a week I need a Vietnamese food fix and Ben Thanh's is where I head. The food is authentic with the freshest ingredients. I have introduced many friends to this delicious cuisine and even the skeptics return again and again. They have an extensive vegetarian selection and their tofu dishes are truly a delight. I especially love the lemon grass curry tofu and the asparagus dish. Also try the wide flat noodles dish. Just writing about this is bringing on a Ben Thanh craving. I headed there right now.
Pros: Delightful food with surprising combinations.
Cons: Not pretty but who cares.
