I don't know what Mrs snip is talking about. It's obvious she's a bitter person. Or perhaps no restaurants give appropriate service, at least not up to her expectations. \r

I've lived in SF for 3 years now and Capurro's is by far one of the better restaurants on Fishermans Wharf. It's one of the few places that I will actually go out of my way to eat at. I recommend the sand dabs. \r

Our waiter, James was very helpful in choosing them. He said he eats them about twice a week. I figured why not. They were excellent to say the least, paired with risotto and spinach. Yum!\r

We ate there on a monday night and were very surprised to have a live jazz band playing while we ate.\r
