This is just the kind of breakfast place that you want to have a few blocks away and where you can be a regular and they'll remember your name. Everything on the menu is done right and the coffee is pretty good and it's inexpensive by LA standards. Parking can be a bit tight as it is located in a small strip mall. But you'll get a spot on the street at least. Next door is a nostalgic toy store which is fun to browse while you wait for a table on weekends. The place seats about 50 people so the wait isn't very long usually. They have a bin full of the day's papers so there's always something to read also. There's usually no wait on weekdays.
