Most bars in Shadyside cater to a younger crowd. This is the only bar that does it with style. I'm not a big fan of all that hoity-toity hooplah that Shadyside bars are known for. Cappy's is kickass because it's not afraid to be itself. Hell, i go there with my ex-wife and her kids during the day and my girlfriend at night, and she's 20 years younger than i am! Each finds it accomodating, delicious and a great place to just take in the neighborhood.
Pros: Good brews, Good vibes, a good time
Cons: No Budweiser on tap
