Let me first start off by saying that I liked the previous decor due it's romantic ambiance and cozy feel. The new design is ok, but seems to be a bit colder and impersonal. I do not understand the reason as to why it was changed. I recently read on oregonlive that the new chef is a recently bailed out corporate chef of the now defunct Hayden Enterprises Inc. The fish I had was swimming in an off tasting broth, it honestly tasted like it was going bad. The service was sub par and the place was completely empty (how can you guarantee a fresh product). I do not understand how this restaurant stays in buisness. The last three reviews are obviously the same person with similar literary styles and at best acquaintances of the management. I give this restaurant less than a year before it shuts down. I have been a faithful customer here for the last year and can tell you that I will not be returning. There is good food to be found in Lake Oswego, it is certainly not found at Genia's however.
