As the original store, this Sur la Table isn't much to write about. It needs to learn from some of its newer cousins in Las Vegas, D.C., etc. It is cramped, with too much merchandise & not enough space. The aisles are so close together, one needs to let the other pass if you are in the same aisle. It does nothing in terms of displaying merchandise attractively. Also, the customer service is terrible: not enough staff, and those that are there seem frazzled, and not willing to take the time. In contrast, staff at other Sur la Table stores are knowledgeable and very helpful. Rather than reminiscent of those quaint French kitchen & linen stores, the entire ambience reminds me of being in your grandmother's attic stuffed with ""things""...UNINVITING!
Pros: Lots of merchandise
Cons: No parking, terrible customer service, cramped
