i've been going to mcn for about a year now and i always seem lucky enough to get kara to cut my hair. she's very easy going and cuts your hair exactly the way you ask. now i just go for a haircut but i've referred a few friends her way and they tell me she's great at coloring hair as well. jim, one of the owners, is a good guy too. he'll always take time out to sit and chat while i'm waiting for kara and he really has a way of creating a fun, positive environment in the salon. my haircut's usually run around $25 but other people tell me that they're a little pricey. now some people could view that as a downfall but i was once told that you should always spend a little extra money on shoes and your haircut. i say this because you'll wear those two things every day and if you're like me you want to make sure you're always looking your best , so it's ok to spend that litte extra money especially if it's worth it and believe me mcn is
