I was told that Bigelow Grille was the only 4 star hotel restaraunt in Pittsburgh, and I can see why: it's lowkey but upscale ambience is spot on, nice host staff, some staff aren't as nice or attentive than others working there but the food makes up for it! I ate there for lunch, dinner and the weekend breakfast buffet and they all were excellent and the prices were very moderate for the upscale lunches and dinners I had. The buffet was only $12 all you can eat and it was one of the best I've ever had. I'd come here again even if i weren't staying at the Doubletree!
Pros: Fabulous lunches and dinner, excellent value breakfast buffet, nice setting
Cons: some staff weren't very nice or attentive, most were though!
