Ok...so who would think a Gift Shop at a fish hatchery could be so cool? Really. Its not just tourist trinkets, though they have all that too...but they have some of the most beautiful wooden carvings I have ever seen. Just gorgeous. I really like the hand blown glass sturgeon too. Of course they have lots of fishy stuff, but theres lots of unexpected treasures- local artisans jewelry, soaps and lotions, foods- really good marionberry jam! The Mt St Helens ash emeralds are to die for.
