I'm terrified of having my hair cut and rarely venture to a new place. After a few months of looking like a victim of electrocution I decided it was time. I have curly big hair, and have had one haircut that I loved but at a place that was way overpriced and out of the way. I needed a cut but also wanted to stay in my neighborhood and not spend half my paycheck. I had passed Parlour a few times always curious. I read all these reviews on citysearch, and it seemed suspicious a little how many people championed Tina, but I thought I'd give her a shot and I'm soooo happy I did. She listened to what I wanted, and I felt comfortable and I will definitely be going back to her. Gave me a great haircut and was easygoing and funny. Everyone there was really nice and cool, not snobby or intimidating like a certain meatpacking salon I once went to. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes a low-key salon with good taste and talented cutters, and the aveda products smell really good and their tea is yummy.
Pros: Great haircut, location, ambiance, price, the list goes on...
Cons: Um...can't think of any.
