I have been told about Serratto from friends that have long enjoyed Portland's restaurant scene. The fabulous food, incredible service, great atmosphere. No smoke was blown!!! We were NOT disappointed Tuesday night. Everything was superb!!!! Our server was professional and very pleasant ,yet not an overwhelming presence. Water and wine consistantly and stealthly filled and plates removed at the exact correct time. All four of us enjoyed our appetizer (calamari), our entrees (phenomenal roast chicken, venison great, and lovely, sophisticated mac n cheese) and 2 bottles of an incredible Pinot Noir. Far too satiated to induldge in dessert, but next time. There will be many ""next times"" for us and our friends. Thank you, Serratto, for getting it right and making it worth spending $200+ on dinner and wine.
Pros: service, food, atmosphere
Cons: it's small, but...please inform patrons of bell peppers in anything. Tabouleh salad.
