I have seen Borja for haircuts and color on and off for about 6 years. Moving from Manhattan was difficult but finding someone as good was IMPOSSIBLE so I'm pleased to be home again and have her in my backyard again.\r

What I like about Borja's salon is not only that they do a very natural top quality job, it's also that she's straightforward with you. If the color you're asking for is too dramatic or going to look unnatural, she will advise you against it and explain why. \r

When I decided to cut my bangs - straight across in a hip new way she was all for it and put me at ease by cutting a little bit at a time so that the shock was not too intense and also so I could stop her along the way if I chickened out. I went out later that night with my new bangs and my stylist friend told me ""your hair has never looked better, don't ever change it!"". Success! \r

It's not cheap but it's worth every cent! I'll never go anywhere else as long as my job keeps me in NYC!!!! Her appointment times are usually flexible but be prepared to wait sometimes. Also, if you have a color nightmare from another salon/stylist no one is better out there to repair someone elses disaster. I've seen some awful coloring jobs walk in to see her and when they leave, it's a miracle! Total transformation. I've seen her be a saviour more than once!
