When we first entered ten pin, we were impressed with the concept of fusing a nightclub/lounge/bowling alley together in a prime location at Atlantic Station. Then, the ""fun"" began. Immediately, we were told that we could only bowl for an hour because we didn't have reservations (that should have been our sign to leave). After haggling ourselves into two lanes, the eight of us ordered drinks and started bowling. One of the lanes gave us fits from the start, sweeping pins when they shouldn't have been swept, missing pins at the reset, and shutting down in the middle of our second game. Yes, the furniture and big-screen TV's were nice, but I could have done better at Rooms-to-Go, because I can get service there. We left without finishing our second game to make room for the ""reserved"" crowd, and were charged a whopping $240. Now some wouldn't have a problem with paying that much to bowl, and I wouldn't either if I had prior knowledge and a fool's heart for money management. So I strongly suggest if you visit Ten Pin that you (A) read the miniscule sign listing lane rates next to the register (it's to your left...bring your reading glasses), or (B) order a drink or two and watch the fools throw their money into the gutter.
