Having wanted to go to Watershed for several years, but just not having the flexibility to drive to Decatur on a Tuesday night, I was very excited to finally get the opportunity. We had family in town from California who wanted a ""Southern experience"". Our 7:45 reservation did not seem too late to us, especially with left-coasters along, but the ill-prepared chef, must not have had forethought to order enough chicken. Our waiter told us as we were sitting, that the kitchen was out of the fried delicacy. Disappointed as we were, (all four of us had planned to oreder it) we all moved ahead with altenate selections. The appetizers were pretty good, mussels and lobster grits, but the lamb shank entree ordered by two of us, was again scarcely allocated, and we were told we could only have one. I admit I was now angry. The duck was okay, if not a tad bland, and the one lamb shank we were so lucky to receive, arrived listless and lacking any real flavor aside from the salt I added. The spinach bed of greens made me feel like I was eating something healthy, but boring as well. Our waiter was at least friendly and apologetic, but were ready to leave by the time we were asked if dessert was an interest. We left unsatisfied and uninterested in returning
