We dined at 18 Seaboard yesterday evening. The wine selection puny and flat. The bar was understocked. The food was under seasoned, if it was seasoned at all. The pork shank was dry, cold, and no where near the ""crispy"" it proclaimed. The ribeye was severely overcooked, medium-well as opposed to the medium-rare we ordered. The she crab soup was overly thick, almost paste-like and bland. Desserts were okay. Candy cane ice cream was the only saving grace. However, the restaurant was packed. I don't understand. The people of Raleigh must be confused! There are far better restaurants all over Raleigh, even down the street in any direction. Needless to say, we all left very disappointed.
