Criminal security 12/5/2008

My recently started work for USA truck lines...he was sent back to Memphis after his training was complete since their terminal and my home is in West Memphis ...we're separated...now as a matter of policy USA trucks are not allowed in Memphis so when my husband showed up on the bus with their logo on his papers the security detained him making him miss a cab that was paid for and waiting for him ...making me to have to get out and cross the river in the early morn to go get him...then as we stopped to get something to eat he discovered that $160 was missing from his wallet and realized the guard stole it...the guards' name was Self...yes that was his name...and trying to find a way to make an official complaint was a nightmare...it's always someone's else's department and no they don't have the number ...and every time we call information we're charged to get another number with another run around...now we know we'll never see the money again but we did want a formal complaint on this guard in case the next person complains they have a record...we understand the security ...nothing to hide...all nice and legal and he was let go but the man is a common criminal in a guards' uniform and if this is the kind of employees that Greyhound hires with no procedures of having another guard or supervisor overseeing the search of property to ensure that all is above board so these things would not happen then this is something that will happen again ...at least until there are enough complaints or the man is caught...if you ride and work for a high risk company you may want to keep a good eye on your money when you go through security. Pros: good drivers..don't lose luggage Cons: criminal's in security steal money more
