A stray Boxer wandered into my yard one day. I am a responsible, experienced dog owner and noticed immediately that the dog had a corneal ulcer in one eye, which is very painful. I wanted to have the dog seen by a vet right away to be scanned for a microchip and get eye medication. My own vet is not local enough, so I tried Cedar River because it was closer to my house. The doctor seemed knowledgeable enough, but wasn't very personable and treated me like I was a complete novice. They were also very expensive. I haven't returned and never plan to.
