This place is a gem. Cozy and romantic, it offers multiple seating options to suit your mood and the circumstances -- a back-room hideway, a semi-formal dining room, a long bar for drinkers and solo diners, a lounge area (with a fireplace for those cold winter nights), and two variations of outdoor seating (intimite patio and public sidewalk) for those warm summer and fall evenings. The service was perfectly spot-on, the food was exceptional through all three courses I enjoyed, and the wine was fairly priced (which is to say I got what I paid for). I can't recommend ""Black Duck"" highly enough, but *don't tell your friends* -- I don't want it to be too crowded for my return visit :)
Pros: Cusine, ambiance, service
