brought my john deere yard tractor to the old saybrook dealer in ct for pulsating engine running problem....approx.1 week later received machine with a replaced carburetor....used the machine for fifteen minutes and same problem came back again.....the machine went back again to fix from the original problem.....received the tractor three and one half weeks later after calling several times for status.....the dealer installed a new gas cap and told me water was in the fuel tank....they told me to empty the fuel and replace....I did so and started cutting the lawn....after 5 minutes the machine had the same problem again....back to the dealership a third time......they held the machine for three weeks again and did not even look at the machine again....called three times and owner would not return my calls....went to the dealer and spoke with the owner Lou. and told me he wasn't going to fix it until I gave him more money....I told him i paid over 700 dollars for the different repairs for the first to visits....He shouted with vulgarity rudeness and told me he wasn't going to work on the machine again and take the machine home....If you consider doing buisness with this dealer in old saybrook or guilford avoid it like the plague and reconsider it............. Cons: time for repairs inferior work and high price more
