I dropped of two pairs of pants with the tailor on a Monday. I needed the waist taken in and hem taken up on both. The older man asked me what day I needed them and I said ""how about Wednesday"" he said ""no, Thursday"" so I was OK with that. When I returned, the pants hadn't even moved from the spot I placed them on the counter Monday morning! He said he would have them finished by 6pm, but I said I have to work late and cannot be back to pick them up by that time. He said he would deliver them to me, and when he asked where I worked -- 15th and Arch Sts, only a few blocks--he took his offer back and said that is too far away! I asked for my pants back and left! What horrible service! Very disappointed and would never use b/c the offer to drop off, and then said it is ""too far!"" I walked there on my lunch break!
