Had a really good meal with two friends the other night. Apps were stellar. Not a big salad fan but the one with escarole and pistaccios was terrific. Tried the duck confit - was rich, but great - almost could make a main course from the big portion. Also tried the raw scallops (Crudo?) - light but really good - like sashimi. Mussels as a main were great - with a white wine broth - possibly the best I've had. Tried friends veal milanese - was definitely different bur really good and worth ordering. We also had the cauliflower gratin as a side which was rich but so, so good... No desserts - about $50 per person and we had a drink to start (at the bar) - then split bottle wine. No dessert- too full. Service was good/friendly/unobtrusive. Place itself was big and not too loud (although I heard it gets really crowded on Friday nights). I'll go back.
Pros: food (mussels, duck, cauliflower), good music, big tables
Cons: crowded on weekends
