I was in NYC from out of town and needed an 8 AM appt. to wash, dry, and style. I had asked for Felipe, based on reviews I read here. But when I got there, Carlos was my stylist. I feel Carlos was polite and well mannered. He did a great job on my hair when it came to the look -- he knows how to style. The only complaint I have about Carlos is that he got the dryer too close to my scalp, which made my scalp hurt for a couple of days. I should have said something but didn't -- I was afraid that I might create tension. But I should have said something. Also, I didn't like that the salon didn't keep my appointment with Felipe, but perhaps he was sick that day; I don't know. However, I am really grateful for the 8 AM appointment, as it made my day go smoothly.
