I moved to Camden at Vanderbilt and was informed TV Max was the only TV cable service allowed in the complex. Right after I moved in, TV Max upgraded to ""XD digital"". I lost service while the upgrade was occurring, (3days) and was told I would not receive any credit for the lost of service. I was told by the CSR, Josie, the upgrade would increase my bill by $77.00 per month and I had no choice but to upgrade. Doesn't take a rocket scientist in the age of computers and the state of the economy........I stopped their service that day and returned their equipment . Two days later , received a phone call that I owed them 115.00 for not returning their equipment. I called and talked with another CSR, Alex, explaining I had returned the equipment. I should have saved my breath. He was NOT buying any of it, even when I told him I had a receipt for returning the equipment. Since I had to leave a credit card on file when I initated service, I was charged for the equipment. In the end, I made three trips to the Westoffice address to get it straightened out, I don't have cable service , I lost the 67.00 first month fees I had to pay when I got the connection, but I am saving over 200 dollars a month.
