During a 6-mo checkup at a different clinic I was told that I needed a couple of cavities filled, and that their clinic would only do composite fillings and not amalgam fillings. Before I got the work done, I consulted with two different dentists I know back in NY. They both told me to save some money and find another dentist who would do amalgams.
