The family came in to the restaurant in a rowdy fashion and the children were not well behaved or quiet. One of them kept requesting, with temper tantrums, to go outside and see the ""pretty motorcycles"" out front, so the father obliged about 7 or 8 times, going in and out each time and bothering the owners of the motorcycles and other bar customers. I saw the father leaving right when the food came out. I went outside to investigate.I asked what the problem was and they did say ""the food took to long"". I agreed with them and told them that there was a large order prior to their's and that delayed their order. The father said"" that is ridiculous because there was no one else in the restaurant but them"" and I said we also do take-out orders as well. HIS wife then told him to go pay for the food so I would not call the cops for fraud, she was very embarrased by his behavior and his yelling in front of their kids in public. Upon paying the bill he said he ""was a regular customer"" and he asked if the restaurant was under new owners. We have owned em r wings for 8 years and he did not know that plus none of the staff recognized them and we are there everyday. Not very regular at all. He then said that ""it was not that much money .why the big deal"". I asked him ""if someone took 40 bucks from you would it matter or would your boss care if you took 40 bucks from him"". NO response, I guess stealing is OK with him. He then tried to use his kids as the excuse for him acting like he did and I said ""you chose to bring them here so stop trying to blame them for you acting like a fool, not a pro-choice or life thing at all. GET A GRIP. if he would have mentioned there was a problem instead of sneaking out of the restaurant like a common criminal there would not have been a problem but he had lost his patience with his kids and felt he could act anyway he wanted and he did. I was protecting my interests by getting money owed to me by the fraudulent customer. .
