I have been reading reviews on children salons in the area and was trying to find a place for my son who is 2 to have his haircut, my husband also needed his haircut. We took a chance and walked into Downing Center Barber Shop, on a Sunday afternoon, with no appointment we were taken within 10 minute. My son usually kicks and screams when getting his hair cut, I have taken him to children salons for his previous haircuts and tell them just to buzz it all off and it takes about 5 minutes. \r

I was so impressed with the way my son was behaving, the barber Bob talked to him the whole time, explained what he was doing and my son did not shed a tear, the haircut took about 10-15 minutes and looks great, best haircut he has ever had. My son even let him do a little massage on his back before leaving. The price is the same as the children salons 17 before tip, worth every penny. \r

My husbands hair also looks great, the barber that did his hair listened to what he wanted and did it, it looks great, not too short. \r

I was dreading this trip and it ending up being an enjoyable experience for all of us.
