Excellent wine bar, great staff, cool vibe, and very good, well-priced food. Only drawbacks are when drunken uptown or non-East Village denizens arrive, or overflow from Il Bagatto next door and ruin the delicate vibe in there (it's small and it's easy to find oneself annoyed by loud, obnoxious lingerers who don't pick up on the enoteca vibe they're going for and treat the place like any other bar in the East Village. Best time to go is during the week for that reason.
Pros: Service, food, wine selection, vibe
Cons: Occasional overrun of drunken hipster crowd
