When we need to celebrate, and I'm in charge of selecting the spot, this is where we go. The meat is terrific, the service is excellent, and the sides are satisfying and rich. I love the franklin salad, which we tried to duplicate at home: what a HUGE amount of work that was, and of course it wasn't as good. We always have a great meal here. Sure it's pricy but this is a splurge meal in many ways. About one years ago we took a group of old friends here, and they're still talking about it, even the woman who is mostly a vegetarian.
