While I realize this place is an Austin favorite, I was not impressed at all. One of my friends had heard it received good reviews, so I thought, let's give it a try. We arrived around 12:15 on a Friday, so it was busy but we were seated within 10 minutes, that was the only positive thing about our visit. I ordered a cheeseburger, pretty basic nothing special and it bragged about a toasted bun on the menu, oh did I mention the burger is 5.25 a la carte, so I'm thinking a $5 burger, this must be good! I'm giddy with anticipation, then the food arrives. Talk about a dissapointment, the bun was cold, and the cheese was no where near being melted, it was as if they had just slapped it on the patty. The friend ordered fries, they were warm at best. Bottom line, I won't be going back to The Frisco.
